Summarizing what the club members enjoyed, Chuck Turner, longtime former president,  commented after a Cloudcroft outing that  “[this trip] reaffirmed my belief that bicycling brings together a group of truly fine people from a diversity of backgrounds.  Age was from 13 to 60s, with all skill levels and equipment..  There were $100 bicycles as well as $3,000 bikes, beginners as well as ex-racers.  This made for great conversation at meals, and a wide variety of lies were exchanged.”
